Servo Drive Amplifier SAV 24/2

The servo drive amplifier SAV24/4 was developed specifically for use in small cutting machines, where big and heavy control cabinets are not suitable. The SAV24/4 can be placed in a decentral position anywhere in the machine, near by the motors. Only a few external parts and external wireing are nessesary to put it into operation.

Functions

Support permanent magnet DC-motors with a nominal armature voltage up to 24VDC,
nominal motor current up to 4.0A,
short circuit proofed motor amplifier outputs,
a single power supply: 24VAC supported by a standard transformer,
internal fuse,
adjustable motor current limitation,
limit switch inputs with emergency stop functionality: The motor first will be slowed down actively and then it will be cleared.
Speed regulation by using 'IxR - compensation' or the tachy inputs,
an integrated ballast circuitry and
a relay output for 24VDC - clutches (optional).
The SAV is optionally available for use with 40VDC - motors as well.

Limit Switch Inputs:............	One input for each rotation direction. Normally closed limit switches short the inputs to GND and release the rotation direction. A opened input stops the motor in its direction (emergency stop function).
Clutch Output (optional):....	This output delivers 24VDC / 0.3A when the motor is released.
