NBS300

The NBS300 is designed for small and medium-sized flame cutting machines and also priced for this range.


Description

NBS300The NBS300 is easy to operate due to the clear menu structure and window technology. By self-explaining softkeys and screen-prompts the period of learning is minimized.

All gases and machine functions are operated by separate keys and buttons in the front panel. Intenionaly we abandoned operation of these functions by screen menus to guarantee a simple and userfriendly handling.

The real-time operation system of the control works very stable and allows for example to download and edit files during cutting.

Macros are importable and freely programmable. 64 Macros are available as download for free of our web page.

A production time recording (additional software on the host computer required) is implemented as well as variable standard shapes.

The NBS300 is available in two versions:

2 axis (long drive, cross drive) and integrated drive amplifiers 24V/100W.

3 axis (long drive, cross drive, synchronized long drive) with external SAV 24/4 (24V/120W) drive amplifiers.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 


With the three axis version, the realisation of light and fast plasma portals is made easy.

Keyboard:.......................... dustproof membrane keys with sensible and acoustic feedback. The keys can be exchanged separately.
Front panel:....................... feed potentiometer. Momentary and stationary keys for mode selection and torch height control ( THC ). Potentiometer for piercing time (oxyfuel and plasma).
Controller:............ ............. Microprocessor MC68332 with 2 MByte battery-backuped RAM. The Software is stored in Flash-Rams and can be updated without opening the control.
Operating system:.............. RTOS-UH PEARL realtime- and multitasking operating system.
Software:........................... File administration, DNC, editor, macros, Teach-in, execution, rotate, mirror, plate align, production time recording, diagnosis programs, reload after powerfail, password protection.
DNC-interface:..     ............. fully isolated RS422 or non isolated RS232 selectable. With RS422 and twisted pair cables. The cable length can be up to 1000m.
User languages:................. German, English, French, Dutch, Swedish selectable. Other languages can be realized with support of customer.
Encoder:............................. 5V differential type (RS422). Maximum counter frequency up to 250kHz.
Motion control:................... Digital axis controllers with ±10V reference voltage used by either the integrated amplifiers external amplifier cabinet.
Power supply:.................... Line voltage 230VAC. All required voltages are generated internally, no external power supplies or transformers are required.
The NBS300 generates stabilized 24VDC, which can also be used by external relais logic (1 A max.).
Digital Inputs:..................... (low-active, isolated): interpolator stop, plasma arc sense.
Digital Outputs:................... (NPN, isolated): ignition, heating gas, heating oxygen, high preheat, cutting oxygen, cutting oxygen high, plasma, inhibit plasma hight control, 4 x torch up/down, 4 x station select (potential free).
Additional in/outputs:......... limit switch inputs, external emergency stop, (low-active), clutches 24V/0,8A, motorized valve (armature feedback)
Drive amplifiers:................. (2 axis version only): Double amplifier for brushtype DC motors with max. 24V armature voltage. Current limitation adjustable (5 A max.) Feedback with tacho or armature voltage feedback and I*R compensation. (armature voltage is sufficient when Encoder is on motorshaft)
Torch Control:.................... Station select of torch height control ( thc) and up/down toggle switch for 4 torches.
